Holistic Child Development

Kica Transforms Ministry (KTM) under the children sponsorship program now has 67 children in Uganda, with 36 children in Kitgum District, 28 children in Pader District and 3 children in Gulu District. In this half year of 2019, all children were able to go to school starting from Primary, Secondary and Vocation School, and the children received all school requirements.  Whereas the children who are under Vocational school were given the tool kits. The children who sat both Primary Leaving Examination and Ordinary Level examination passed well.  At the same, in the month of May 2019, five students who were studying under Carpentry and Joinery in Pader, were assessed by Business Technical Vocational Education (BTVET) and issued them with certificates.

Whereas the children who are under Vocational school were given the tool kits. The children who sat both Primary Leaving Examination and Ordinary Level examination passed well.  At the same, in the month of May 2019, five students who were studying under Carpentry and Joinery in Pader, were assessed by Business Technical Vocational Education (BTVET) and issued them with certificates..

As a result, out of 28 children in Pader district, five children graduated in the field of the Carpentry and Joinery. The graduation was officially opened by the District Community Development Officer (DCDO) and his assistant from Pader District, and was attended by KTM Executive Director and Children Director with other staff and the community including  LC 1 of the village.
